Personal Garden Share (Lite)

A “Personal” garden share is our entry level, no frills** garden share option. It is perfect for a single person or couple who want to include fresh naturally grown vegetable produce into their meal plan regularly, but don’t want to risk food piling up or going to waste. This share includes 6 or 7 fresh basic produce items. It usually* includes 1 greens selection, 1 other greens or asian greens selection, 1 onion selection, 1 root selection, 1 cucurbit selection, 1 herb selection and 1 nightshade, legume or brassica selection.

Basic Garden Share

The “Basic” garden share is designed for a couple or a small family who would like to include healthy vegetable choices into their diet regularly. This share includes 9 or 10 fresh produce items. It is usually* comprised of 2 greens selections, 1 other greens or asian greens selection, 1 onion selection, 1 herb selection, 2 root selections, 1 cucurbit selections, 2 nightshade, legume, or brassica selections. We try to includes microgreens at least once a month.

Family Garden Share (Full)

The “Family” or “Full” garden share is designed to feed families. You include salads and veggies in most meals. Your share will consist of 13 or 14 items each week. A usual* share will be comprised of 2 greens selections, 1 other green selection, 1 asian green selection, 1 onion selection, 2 herb selections, 3 root selections, 2 cucurbit selections, 3 nightshade, legume, or brassica selections. It also usually includes microgreens each week. When a particular selection is not plentiful enough for all shareholders (early/late season, crop failure), it will be made available to full shareholders preferentially.

All produce is in season. Availability of specific items within categories will fluctuate with the season. Early season shares will have heavier weightings of greens. Mid season shares will have more nightshades, cucurbits and legume choices. Late season shares will have heavier weightings of roots and brassicas.

* These items are NOT included in lite shares

Frequencies
Full Season | This duration runs for 18 weeks, beginning in mid June and ending mid October.

Short Season | This duration runs for 14 weeks. It begins at the end of June and finishes at the end of September.

Late Summer Hiatus | August 30 – Sept 7, 2019. This is the mental health break your farmers take during the first week of September. The farm will be closed. There will be no harvest or shares that week. There are 14 or 18 weeks in addition to this week off that shares ARE available/delivered.

Farmers Market

We are planning to exhibit at the Perth Garlic Festival. Due to the popularity of our garden share program, we will not be regularly attending other farmers markets this year.
